Building a Better Tomorrow. The Hope Station Opportunity Area is located in the borough of Carlisle Pennsylvania.


Formed in 2000 to develop programs that empower people in the Hope Station area.

Board Members

Neighborhood Council of up to 17 members representing corporate, municipal and area residents.

Carlisle Hope Station Kids Cafe Program

Kid’s Cafe

Offers children a healthy after school snack, Monday thru Friday 2:45 to 4:15 during the school year.

Adult Programming (Cyberspace)

Adult Programming (Cyberspace)

Offers a space to utilize computers for internet access, print, copy, work
on one’s resume, as well as career development, job development, and GED Classes 

Trades Program

Trades Program

For students 13 to 18. They will learn skills such as changing a tire, building raised beds, welding , financial literacy, cooking healthy snacks, and art projects.
